I left my job of 6 years in July of 2020.
It was a strange and cruel severing from a company I helped grow and a group of people I came to call friends. I have been attempting to write about the experience, and so far, it’s proving to be quite a challenge. I hope to have something publishable in the coming weeks.
Despite that, it was, as they say, a blessing in disguise. I can now dedicate my full attention to building out Exploriter. Something I have dreamt of and threatened to do for many years.
Most of my time is spent designing, writing, and honing in on where I can add value.
Until Exploriter can turn a profit, I’m living off of savings and stock market and cryptocurrency luck.
A current problem I’m contemplating…
Almost every profound problem in the world reduces to: taking a complex system, reducing it to a complicated system, optimizing for the complicated system, and killing the complex system in the process.

What is a Now page?
It’s the bird’s-eye view of what I’m focussed on at this point in my life. If you have your own site, you should make one, too.
A better way to stay in touch...
I write a newsletter that publishes most Saturday mornings.
